Opened in May of 2005, the Adler Institute for Advanced Imaging offers state-of-the art medical imaging paired with a thoughtful emphasis on patient comfort and care.

Dr. Lee P. Adler is founder and Medical Director of Adler Imaging. He is an internationally recognized leader in PET and PET/CT and a pioneer in 3-D Coronary Artery Imaging. He established the region’s first PET/CT center in 2001 as Chief of Nuclear Medicine at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Adler personally reviews patient records and consults with referring physicians to ensure that every study is tailored to meet each patient’s needs.

Dr. Karel P. Kovnat, Ph.D, ABPP, is Adler Imaging’s CEO and Director of Neuropsychological Research. A psychologist with advanced credentials and significant clinical experience, she focuses on providing an exceptional patient experience that supports the highest clinical standards in a respectful and welcoming setting. She also has a strong research background in the uses of PET for patients with cognitive disorders, such as dementia.

Amy Paccapaniccia, PA-C, is a Licensed Physician Assistant and functions as the Research Coordinator at Adler Imaging. In this capacity, she manages all ongoing research studies. The majority of her work focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease.

Amy is also trained to perform Positive Emission Mammography (PEM) studies on our patients who may have tumors of the breast tissue. She thoroughly enjoys working with her research and PEM patients and strives to provide compassionate quality care. She received both her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and her Master's degree of Physician Assistant Studies at Duquesne University.

Lisa Beaubien is the Chief PET/CT Technologist at Adler Imaging. She oversees and performs quality PET/CT and PEM imaging with the priority of care and comfort for patients and their families. Lisa graduated from the Nuclear Medicine Technology program at Ferris State University in Michigan and has seven years of experience specific to PET/CT procedures.

Todd Chapin is a licensed CT and PET/CT Technologist who is board certified in radiology and nuclear medicine. He graduated from the University of Aurora in Illinois and was trained at the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at the College of DuPage, also in Illinois. Todd has eighteen years of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. He completed a full time CT Internship with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and performs CT procedures at Adler Imaging.

Linda Morrow serves as the Office Manager and also coordinates the bookkeeping at Adler Imaging. Initially certified as a Medical Assistant, Linda has almost twenty years of experience in office management. She works with all staff members to build Adler Imaging as the leading PET/CT facility in greater Philadelphia.

Joan Sandler is the Billing Manager who coordinates the insurance accounts at Adler Imaging. Joan has thirty years of medical background specializing in radiology administration.

Rachel Anderson Olenick is Adler Imaging's Marketing Specialist. She endeavors to maintain open communication with all referring doctor's offices and to connect with physicians seeking prompt, quality PET/CT reports and dedicated patient care. She has a B.A. in Communications and is an active member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Fayne Lipsitz, a Front Office Coordinator, was initially trained at the Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. She is a veteran with ten years experience working at radiology office sites and twenty years working as a medical lab technologist.

Kimberly Caspar brings fifteen years of customer service experience to her position as Head Medical Office Receptionist. She is a polished representative of Adler Imaging's services to both patients and referring doctor's offices.

Heather Portland, Medical Office Receptionist, earned an associate degree in nursing from Bucks County Community College. She has eleven years background as a dedicated medical clerical professional.
